Champ du moulin

We stayed in our camper van for 6 nights. The campsite was great and had all the facilities needed. The family running the site were really helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and catered for vegetarians which was a big plus.

One of the best campsites we have ever stayed at! Jean-Phillipe, Stephanie, Matisse and Jordi were friendly, knowledgeable, interested - and extremely patient with my poor French. It is very quiet at night as lots of campers stay there to enjoy the mountains by hiking, road cycling, mountain biking, etc. and the gates are shut between 10 pm and 7 am to ensure no cars are driving around in the night. The fast flowing river and waterfall in the valley also cover little noises. The facilities block and grounds were kept impeccably clean and tidy. Plenty of free hot water for showers and washing dishes, never had to queue - and the toilets even had toilet roll which is unusual for French campsites. There is a drying room and drying racks which we used as we did have a thunderstorm and needed dry cycling clothes for the next day. Had a meal cooked in their on-site restaurant and it was really generously sized and delicious. Baguettes and croisants can be ordered too. Maybe it is because Jean-Phillipe and Stephanie are so friendly that it makes everyone else on the campsite smile too and exchange stories about their trips. We came to cycle up the Tour de France cols and mountains, and I still have one or two left to climb further away, so would love to come back!

Me and my girlfriend was welcomed by the lovely couple Jean-Philippe and Stephanie. They helped us with necessities during our visit and were very helpful and kind. The camping had a homely and cozy atmosphere which we both enjoyed. Every evening we got served a three dinner course cooked with local ingredients, it was delicious! We would love to stay here again if we come back to Oisans. Strongly Recommend!
