High season visit
The first week of our stay was affected by large groups of teenagers, who were staying on site with their 'supervisors'? They caused immense pressure on the sanitary facilities and a great deal of noise. The end result was the complete shutdown of one of the two sanitary blocks for the best part of a day. After that the washing machine and dryer were put out of action and were still like that when we left six days later. There is no lighting at night and no secure barrier at the entrance, therefore cars were free to move at anytime. The park is in a beautiful area with plenty to do, especially for children, however because of this and the riverside bars and facilities it is not a quiet site at the height of the season.
Manager's reply
Dear Sir, I am very surprised of your message. You could come and tell us about the noise if it was disturbing, it 's true that there were youngers (5 years old) but they were quiet after 10pm because their supervisors had to respect their "sleeping time" - fyi a lot of people complained about your dog during your stay but we turned a blind eye to this. Regarding the dryer it works very well ! Regarding the washing machine because of a control that has been made on July 26th 2018, this product must be handled with caution so we prefer not using it and we can't use it ! however we put a message on the washing machine explaining that you should ask to the reception desk cause we have another solution as I have another washing machine, so why didn't you come and see us ? Anyway hope you enjoy your stay, Sandy.

The best campsite we've ever stayed at
My teenaged daughter and I booked this place knowing very little about the region and specific location. When we arrived late one evening in July, we couldn't have been more delighted. It's small, perfectly situated next to the river and immaculately kept with everything you could want nearby (both within the campsite itself and in the village/s). The owners, Ludovic and Sandy, are lovely and thankfully, both spoke English. Overall, it was great value, beautiful and peaceful and we wished we could have stayed for longer. We'd definitely return and make it a week or two next time.

Lovely Campsite
Really lovely campsite. Amazing location by the river with a good selection of places to eat within walking distance. (though the food is fairly average) The toilets & showers were very clean and the showers piping hot. They have a bouncy castle & a small play park for kids, table tennis & badminton net. You can swim in the river & hire canoes & Pedalos to play about on the river. The staff were really friendly and the village of Clecy is delightful with a fantastic Boulangerie. We will certainly be going back.

Relaxation heaven
There were eight of us on a club rally and we were greeted warmly at 23.00 off the late ferry and shown to our riverside pitches. Next morning awoke to wonderful scenery and a nice clean well kept quiet site. There is no pool (great) but a small shop, boule court, couple of bouncy castle type things and a computer games room for the children plus two clean toilet blocks. Wonderful area for sightseeing with restaurants etc just across the river and the local village about 1/2 mile away. 10 amp, electric which did the job and fresh bread could be ordered and collected from the site shop each morning. Ludovic also makes wonderful cider which is well recommended. We were there for the French holiday weekend and sadly it was too busy for our liking but perhaps all sites would have been the same. We all had a wonderful week and are all going back as a group again in 2014. Highly recommended if you like relatively quiet, without lots of entertainment, very very pleasant helpful host and a wonderful area to explore.
