A Great Campsite for a long or short stay
I have used this campsite on two previous occasions when cycle touring and found it a very pleasant tent camping stop-over in an attractive situation. This time my brother and I hired a two bedroom cabin for two weeks whilst property viewing in the Normandy/Brittany area. My daughter and family from Hong Kong joined us for the second week. We all had a great stay although the weather was unseasonably wet. The campsite is spacious and facilities are clean and good. It is a municipal site so don't expect a holiday park but if you are looking for somewhere secure and pleasant to camp beside a lovely lake and within walking distance of a pretty town with history and nice shops and restaurants then this is the spot for you. The staff at the site are very friendly and helpful which is probably the most important factor and for someone like me who struggles with his schoolboy French the presence of English speaking staff was a huge help.

Fantastic campsite
This campsite was brilliant for our needs. Some pitches have hedges surrounding them that are over six feet tall allowing privacy, some are shorter if that's not what you want. Pitches are a good size. Facilities are fantastic; good toilets and showers, with hot water and they are regularly cleaned. Areas to wash up etc. Free WiFi near the reception. Some of the people who work there speak very good English therefore any requirements/queries are easily dealt with, and they provided us with plenty of information on the surrounding area. Lovely place, and only a short walk/drive from the town which has a few restaurants, cafes, a bakery, shop etc. Only issue was the lack of toilet paper - however there is a large supermarket less than a 5 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend this campsite - we stayed at 3 during our trip, and this was by far the best.
