Beatiful little spot!
We stopped off her for the first night of our holiday, passing through on the way to the dune de Pyla, As soon as we arrived Rick and Eva gave us a warm welcome and explained what there was to do in the area. The campsite itself is very pritty, situated right on the edge of the Dordogne river, plenty of shady spots for camping and fishing. Whilst the facilities are basic, they are clean and tidy and anything you need is only a few minutes away, combined with a bar and draught beer, makes this place a winner! We will be booking ourselves in again, for a week next time and cant wait to get back to this beautiful little part of the world. Thanks for looking after us so well!

Wonderfully relaxing experience
We had an excellent stay at La Berge Ombragee. Veronique and her family were most welcoming and genuinely took an interest in our holiday with them.. We had a lovely, large pitch at the side of the very peaceful campsite. The toilet and shower facilities were adequate and very clean. During one of the evenings there was a severe storm which Veronique and her husband took very seriously ensuring that everyone on the site was safe and secure. I would highly recommend this site to anyone wanting to enjoy the Dordogne area.
