Back to Albert…again!
Love this campsite! Friendly, well-positioned for walking into Albert or visiting the many World War sites. One sanitary facility block shared by all - it works well and is clean. Will return!

Beautiful & Clean
This is a lovely campsite, very clean, showers nice and hot. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The reception is only manned in the morning & evening so if you arrive between those times just find an empty pitch. There is bread delivered daily at about 9am. The town is a short 10 min walk away. Perfect place for visiting the Somme battlefields. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning.

One of the best
Really good campsite for the single traveller or for a family. This is a good base from which to explore the Somme region which is part of Hauts de France. If you are interested in ww1 then there are many memorials and cemeteries to visit along with some very good museums. The Somme 1916 museum in Albert is particularly interesting and there are several well renowned memorials within easy each of the campsite. The campsite is situated close to the town centre and can accommodate anything from a small tent to large motorhomes and caravans. The staff are friendly and very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We shall definitely use this site again and again.

Battlefield Touring
We arrived to be met by the staff. Although language difficulties were there Saint the start we all managed to communicate ok. They had our booking form and had reserved spaces as requested. Excellent that i have used many times before. Clean and well maintained. Not an extensive shop but machine for despensing brean coissants.

Excellent stay
Spent 10 days at Le Velodrome, staff very helpful and attentive. Pitches were excellent, facilities were basic but kept very clean. Will definitely be booking again!
