Jocelyne and Bruno will receive you. With great pleasure at their 19th cen. Tury home. We live a few hundred me- Ters from the mountains and forest. And you will be able to enjoy the pu- Blic trekkingpath gr5 or even try the. Pilgrimage to Compostel. In Thann, all restaurants are within. Walking distance from our house.
The Zuber's are very friendly and super helpful. There wealth of information of Thann and the region was very much appreciated. From the best directions to two of the women's tour stages. To some of the local history and restaurant's. My favorite was the La Rose Des Vents, super service with great food. Plus the Le Caseus and Aux Sapins. Also the lady at the Thann tourist information center was a great help. I really should have stayed longer.

Warm informative owners
Delightful stay. Large comfortable room, generous breakfast, pleasant informative owners who gave much of their time in sharing conversation with us. Wished we could have stayed longer…so much to do and explore.
Away From The Hustle
This was a quiet retreat in the heart of Thann, clean and comfortable. We were able to walk through the town on a couple of occasions. Bruno and his wife were most welcoming, and the breakfast a good start to another travel adventure.
Hospitality, relaxation, warmth, and history are the main descriptions, but nothing can match the hospitality of Bruno and Jocelyne Zuber who were so kind and helpful to me. I was doing a genealogy search, and Bruno introduced me the local historian who assisted me immensely. They also suggested restaurants, hiking trails, and informed me of the museums, etc. Each morning for breakfast, they had a special bread of the region. Also, the guests at the table were interesting and varied from a woman hiking the Wine Trail, a couple biking to Italy, and a family on a road trip. They speak French and German fluently and English is manageable. Bruno also took me to the small town where my great grandmother was born plus helped me to connect with the Genealogy Society of Guebwiller. All this is beyond expectations! Besides this there is the historic aspect of the B & B as it was a former castle and used by the military with the old guard house still on the property. The hosts have some tapestries and paintings that continue with the authenticity of the property's period, but the bathrooms are remodeled, and all rooms are decorated with colorful themes. There's a large parking area if you're driving, but I took the train from Mulhouse and you get out at the stop after city center with a small walk to the property. I didn't have any problems finding it as there's a small roundabout that you walk through going left and then a sharp turn to the right. They have a map on the website. I give high recommendations to the whole experience, and I'd love to return!
The place is nice and very clean, the owners are really kind. Just one negative note : one of the rooms had no bathroom door, but it's all new and mayby they have to finish to work. We liked it very much.
