A quiet destination after a hot day. welcomed with a cool beer what more could you want
The welcome was excellent and the family could not have been more helpful. Food and conversation was very good.
I / we have been here in La Bertellière every year for at least 10 years. I can strongley recommend this for other people. Everything is over expectations! Christer Eklund.

Wonderful over-night stay
Lily and Bruno are wonderful hosts. English was limited but they were warm and welcoming and eager to make us as comfortable as possible. The property is delightfully secluded with sublime gardens. We travelled with our two-year-old daughter who loved wandering and exploring. We had to bring our own travel bed for her, but the room was so big (with private bathroom) that it was no bother at all. This place is a special treat for anyone who shares Lily's passion for frogs...

A French Gem
Absolutely superb! A very ideosyncratic place with a 'fetish' for frogs - of all types other than real ones. We took advantage of the evening meal 'with the family'. A wonderful experience. I cannot speak too highly of the 4 hour extravaganza and they can speak english though they are keen for you to try to communicate in french. Even with GCE French - and mediocre I was 50 years ago - we still got by with their help. Bruno & Lily were charming hosts.
From Exit No. 9 on the A11 after the toll, take direction louplande and go to the village. At the entrance, turn right until emphasizes flace.
