Peaceful Normandy
Our stay in Vaudeloges was very enjoyable and our hosts were so kind and helpful. We walked in the beautiful countryside and even borrowed Chantal and Pierre's bicycles for an afternoon outing. We visited a nearby, family run Cider farm and were given a private tour of the cellar. Chantal is a wonderful cook and the breakfast was a real treat. The room was beautiful and very well equipped. A unique experience!!!

Nature in Vaudeloges, Calvados
A most welcoming place to stay at the edge of a very quiet village. The ceiling in the bedroom is a bit low but that was no problem for me. Dinner with the owners was very convivial and excellent value. Breakfast was first class consisting of charcuterie and cheese plus a delicious apple flan as well as the usual continental breakfast items.

A Perfect End to Our Holiday
The welcome was warm and friendly. The accomodation comfortable, the repas truely excellent [Chantal is a superb cook] and our french was understood and we enjoyed lively discussions on many subjects. If we are ever in this area again, we shall certainly repeat our visit. Carolyn de Grey and Kay White.

Good position for touring, warm hosts, immaculate accomodation
We were made to feel so welcome by Chantal & Pierre & impressed by the attention to detail & cleanliness of the room, even though we needed to watch out for beams! The evening meals were delicious - one was cooked on a spit over an open fire, but it is essential to be able to speak French if one wishes to make the most of the mealen famille. We really appreciated the idea of breakfast in our room (or garden in our case), finding a fridge full of milk, water, juice, home made jams & yoghurts & a basket of freshly baked bread & cake outside our door in the morning. We were encouraged to relax in the beautiful, peaceful garden & to use the bikes to explore the lanes. Nothing seemed too much effort for our hosts. We strongly recommend a stay there.
