Welcome to the heart Beaujolais, in the district. Le Moulin de Saint Jacques is surrounded by vineyards. To the north : Bourgogne, to the south : Beaujolais and Côte du Rhône. Facing the village of Saint Mamert, (Cistercian) site, on the pilgrim's way of Santiago de Compostela, near the gr 76 (walking path 76), this home of great charm is the ideal stopover, between northern France and Provence. If you wish to ramble or marvel at places of history or simply relax, this is the perfect spot. This is a proudly restored 15th century water mill, with on underground river that flows underneath. Le Moulin opening first in May 2009. Whether as a group a friends or “en famille”, get away from everything, come here, and be charmed by the serenity and the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The garden, about 2,5 acres is fenced off. You can relax in a deck chair under the cherry tries, or have a siesta in one of the (hamacs) under the silver birches. While your children play safety in the garden, cars being left in a close and private space, the sportive ones can use the tennis court (rackets available), while others can enjoy picking black berries in hedges. In the evening, you can play billards, or enjoy a peace full moment by the fireplace in the sitting room. Breakfast is served at the large farm table. Traditional and local jams and honey are served with various home maid bread. Meals are available and request. We can house up to forteen people at a time.
