The road winds for 800 meters and goes up to the Seyx hamlet (637 m altitude), from where you discover a magnificent panorama of the west cliffs and the peaks of the Chartreuse. Our house is labeled fleurs de soleil 3 flowers. Two hundred years old, it has been patiently renovated by us and offers the room La Sure (name of a Chartreuse summit that faces us). The interior of the house reminds you of the cozy atmosphere of the mountain chalets, the private toilets are on the landing of the room, the bathroom, also private, large and clear, is on the mezzanine and we put slippers and bathrobes at the disposal of our guests.
The surrounding environment is the hamlet and its adobe buildings, pastures, forest and trails to walk without moderation. Opposite the hamlet, the ridges and bars of the Chartreuse Massif and, a little further south, the neighboring massif of Vercors. Voiron is less than 10 minutes, Grenoble and Chambery 40 minutes. Voironnais hills and Chartreuse mountain are waiting for you to live intense moments in all seasons : the discovery of historical and religious heritage, fishing and traditional water activities at Paladru Lake, summer hikes and winter pleasures … You will be spoiled for choice.
What our hosts send back to us - and you will discover - is the tranquility of the place barely punctuated by the singing of birds or the modest agricultural activity of the hamlet. These are also the intimate places that you'll choose based on the sun or a need for isolation. Add the pleasure of the shared table : gourmet breakfasts, local products, regional flavors… And Brigitte's inspiration !
