Good Clean and very friendly
We stayed with Christian for 6 nights in May and he was the perfect host. My mother in law has poor mobility and the rooms were easy for her to use. The rooms are a bit basic but are very comfortable. The area is full of History and lots to see within 15 mile radius. Christian made us a good breakfast each day and helped us with a variety of ideas to help our visit.

Ideal Location For Touring The Somme
Stayed here for 3 days to tour the battlefields. Christian was very friendly, helpful and he went out of his way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay, and gave us maps, guides etc, explained about different places of interest. Nothing was too much trouble. So much so that we are planning another visit hopefully next year. Thank you Christian for all your kindness.

Nice house located right on the WW1 Front Line
Pozieres has a fascinating and moving history. The house is on the main Albert-Bapaume road and can be noisy at times. Otherwise it is well located and the ensuite room was roomy and comfortable, even if the push-button toilet could be a bit tricky! M Louchart looked after us very well, offering plenty of advice on where to eat, museums and battlefields. Plenty of car parking and 'Le Tommy' bar/restaurant and museum right opposite the house. We would certainly recommend a stay.

Warm welcome in Pozieres
Warmly welcomed by Christian who kindly let us use his laundry facilities as needed. He was very enthusiastic in providing us with helpful information about the local area. We enjoyed the friendly company of our host's dog.

Visit not yet made as this was an enquiry for accomodation in the future
As a regular visitor to the Somme battlefields and usually as a guide for many interested friends... (and their friends also) I maintain a list of acceptable accomodation in the area. I have visited this accomodation and would have no hesitation in recommending it to visitors who place their faith in me to arrange their 'digs' for them and neither would I hesitate to use this site for myself and family. Cannot comment on breakfast as I have not yet partaken, but the survey demanded an answer, but have confidence.
