A wonderful stay in Pau
Off all the places we stayed in France during our visit -- from so-called luxury villas to simple lodges -- Benoit and Agne's place was not only the best value, but provided the warmest and most congenial environment. The room was impeccable and charming; the breakfasts full and delicious; and the location -- a couple blocks from the center of Pau -- unbeatable. But what elevates a stay here are the hosts, who could not be more welcoming or generous with their time, knowledge and concern. Note: Guests should have basic French (or Spanish) to stay here.

Perfect hosts perfect location
What a jewel…the location, the ambiance, the hosts …all perfect. We had 2 nights at "A Casa" in Pau and cannot fault the hospitality. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and very knowledgeable. The chambre was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast, a plentiful, fresh selection of local Bio pruducts beautifully served. We had the room upstairs with the charming balcony over looking the garden perfect for relaxing after a day sight seeing in Pau. We highly recommend this Chambre d'Hote, you will not be disappointed.

Best ever experience of Chambre d'Hotes - three cheers for Delphine and Benoit
This traditional rural village accommodation has been been transformed by Benoit and Delphine into a bright and welcoming home that offers fine accommodation for guests. The rooms are spacious as are the en suite bathrooms. There is additional provision for guest catering and for storage and kitting out for cyclists and walkers. But the special treat is the Casse Croute paniers provision that Delphine can make available to guests wishing to have an evening meal -that can be enjoyed on the terrace - with a hamper replete with local meats, cheeses, bread and conserves. Delphine and Benoit are friendly accessible hosts eager to help with extensive information on itineraries, sights, etc. Truly a delightful base for visiting the Ossau and Aspe valleys.
