Just 7 km from Vézelay, in the heart of Burgundy, is the small village of Montillot. In this green and calm environment, we warmly welcome you in our guest rooms! We are Belgian and very proud to be the owners of a house that is part of the historical heritage of Vézelay. Its renovation meets the highest requirements. Legend has it that the house has long belonged to the Knights Templar to serve as a meeting place. Particular detail: the pilgrimage route to St. Jacques de Compostela passes close to the Poppy Rest. From here you can follow the path of Compostela to Vézelay! We have three guest rooms: two for two people and one for three people. The interior decoration is based on the color of one of these three crystals: pink quartz, amethyst and celestine. The double room on the ground floor is particularly suitable for people who have difficulty climbing stairs. Each room has its own bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower. The beds can be separated or close together to make a double bed, at your request. Every morning a hearty breakfast is served in the dining room on the ground floor - there is a free private car park right next to the house.
