L'Art de vivre

We appreciated the warm welcome, even though we arrived later than anticipated. Also very much enjoyed our evening meal 'en famille' on our hosts' pleasant and peaceful patio. The bedroom (at the top of the house) was very hot so the air conditioning is useful. Also helpful to be able to stay till 12.00 on day of departure. We would definitely stay with Josie and Bernard again.

Bernard and Josie were very friendly and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. They provided us with lots of useful information on local activities and places to go for day trips. The room was clean, spacious and the air conditioning proved very useful during the evenings. The breakfast was lovely and gave us a chance to sample some local homemade jams and goats cheese. Latour is a beautiful traditional village with friendly locals (an evening at the bar, Passejada is recommended). We would have benefitted from having our own transport to explore the wider area however there is a bus stop within close walking distance and many local amenities. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with good food and wine, in a picturesque setting with accommodating hosts then a stay at L'Art de Vivre is a must.

This b&b is in a beautiful region, close to many spectacular drives, villages, and historic and scenic sites to visit, along with clear air and good local cuisine. Though Latour-de-France itself is not as charming as we'd hoped, Josie and Bernard's home is very pleasantly situated. They were good hosts, steering us toward interesting things. We signed up for a dinner with them as well, and Josie made us a lovely meal, and they introduced us to the wonderful local wines. Very important to me: the beds were comfortable and the pillows abundant and soft!
