In the undulating landscape, surrounded by the plum and hazelnut orchards, in a recently-converted ancient farm with timber framing and stone walls we have installed and furnished cosy and spacious guest-rooms. The guest-rooms include a private bathroom with a shower and a toilet. There are shared living rooms for the guests. There is also the added convenience of a kitchen. Outside you can sit on several terraces and there is a barbecue. You can refresh yourself in the swimmingpool. From our house you have beautiful views to the hilltop ruin of the medieval fortress of Cancon, to the valley and a lake. Cancon is a picturesque, medieval, fortified village like Monflanquin, Monpazier, Pujols and Villeréal. In this area there are many fortresses and castles. Five kilometers away, there is a golf course and there are horse riding facilities. For wine tasting, its all there !! Cancon is the springboard to a rich wine region including Monbazillac, Bergerac, Buzet, Duras en Marmande, and a little further including Cahors, Saint-Emilion and Bordeaux.
