Very nice resort for visiting the neighborhood, people are warm, friendly and anchored in their environment. The cottage is practical, the village, peaceful, silent. Good inn in Buffard, the lounge would be more warm with a fireplace.
The best chambre d'hote we have stayed in. Monsieur Guy could not have been more helpful. The room was delightful, the gardens immaculate and peaceful. Buffard is a charming village and the Auberge serves excellent food. We hope to return to Le Detour again and would highly recommend it.
Excellent bed & breakfast
Family of four made very welcome from the word go; nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Very friendly. Large enough en-suite and clean. Breakfast fine. The kids loved the donkies! Would definitely go back.
