In the Perche Regional Natural Park, located in the village of Beaumont Altars, a former bread oven Percheron has been turned into bed and breakfast in 2013. This separate building from the main house is located in a green and quiet place. Ideally located 5 km from the Number 4 exit of the A11 motorway, 1h30 from Paris and Chartres 50nm, or on the way to Brittany and the Loire Valley.
Stayed here during a scorching hot weekend in July, in order to explore Le Perche. Ideally situated, walking distance from the village (grocery, baker, butcher, café/bar), 10-15 mins drive from Nogent-le-Rotrou. Quality of accommodation and welcome, faultless.

This accommodation is truly very different, but so relaxing and excellently appointed. Immediately we wished we had reserved two or more nights; but we hope to return. The bed was extremely comfortable and the added courtesy of being able to make a cuppa was appreciated. Bathroom was very modern, clean and charmingly thought out, this being a conversion from a French bread oven. Toiletries and towels were of the best quality. There is a private garden area for this B&B with table, chairs and sunbrella. The owners greeted us warmly and we had fun seeing their us ww11 jeep-especially as this was a tour for us centered around that period. Breakfast was beautifully served and plentiful. We are keeping our fingers crossed we can get in to this accommodation in the future.
