We had an excellent week's stay. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. We quite liked the church bells: they rang on the hour through the night but weren't a problem! Our hosts were warm and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice, with excellent home baking on offer, along with home-made jams and apple juice. When most of your breakfast is grown nearby, you know it's fresh and healthy. Best of all was the thoroughly helpful advice about the area, with tips on what to see and how to get there, along with maps for exploring country roads. We are not seasoned walkers, so having advice on when to take boots was much appreciated. We thoroughly recommend staying here. Most of the guests are French, many of them enthusiastic walkers trekking through a beautiful part of France. We felt in good company at breakfast.
