Our guide was especially informative and was careful in ensuring our safety as we crossed the Bay of Somme. The wildlife (including a seal) and plant life we observed were fascinating, as was the guide's explanation of the hunting and - Edible-plant gathering activities in the bay. The information of how the bay was evolving and the interaction - Of human activities on that evolution was especially interesting. We highly recommend this walk to anyone - Fit enough to slog through mud and moderately strong water currents. People also should be advised to - wear old clothes and waterproof shoes.
