The Palace of Versailles is one of the most beautiful accomplishments of 17th-century French art, and was classed as a unesco world Heritage site some 30 years ago.

Tour the King and Queen's lavish apartments and the Hall of Mirrors. Thanks to your audio guide and interactive map, you can learn more about the history of key figures from the French monarchy.

You will explore Queen Marie Antoinette's Estate, visiting the places that allowed the queen to escape from the rigour of the court. Visit the Petit Trianon and the Hamlet in order to learn more about her private life.

You will then have the chance to explore the palace's magnificent gardens. Don't miss the Fountain Show that takes place every Saturday and Sunday!

• Departure time: 10: 30am, 11am, 11: 30am, 12-noon
• Duration: 5 hrs. approx.

• Meeting point: Versailles 
• This tour includes admission to the gardens for the following special events/dates:

The Fountain Show (Saturdays and Sundays from March 26 to Oct. 30, Tuesdays from May 24 to June 28, plus March 25, May 5 and July 14 )

The musical gardens (tuesdays from March 29 to May 17 and from July 5 to Oct. 27 + Fridays from July 1 to Sept. 30) * Please note: it is not possible to re-enter the gardens once you leave them
• Buggies are not permitted inside the palace
• Flat shoes without are strongly recommended (uneven parquet flooring in the palace and paving in the courtyard)
• Accessing the palace may pose problems for those with reduced mobility
• Photography without the flash is permitted inside the palace
• No pets allowed

No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied: Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
