Canoe, kayak, bicycle, all-terrain or mountain bike hire

My husband & I set off with our three kids at 10am. It felt like we had the whole Lot to ourselves. The lot is very calm so rowing is easy and enjoyable. We paddled the 3.5 km to the Chateau & dam; wish we'd stopped for refreshments at the Château but we paddled back instead. We saw loads of fish jumping, deer ???? and birds of prey. Truly spectacular experience. Highly recommend for a family trip. Take lots of water and sunscreen.

My wife and I travel frequently and decided to cross France off our bucket list this year. Wherever we travel, I want to bike around the area I visit. It provides a better awareness of the area and some fitness. I contacted several bike shops and Nicholas in Montayral was able to accommodate me. He had a bike ready for me and assisted in swapping out my pedals to allow me to use my riding shoes. He offered riding recommendations and encouraged me to call with any technical issues. I did get a flat tire and he quickly met with me, provided the tire tube change and gave me a spare tube and pump, should I have any other issues. As an out of season user, Nicholas also provided an exceptional rate for the 6 days. I would recommend his service to anyone needing a bike or canoe. Mike.

Really enjoyed this trip. Very helpful owner. Good equipment. The only problem was getting out with the boat to go round the weir which we found a little difficult and strenuous as we are not experienced or that strong. However it was our choice to do the one way trip. Did really enjoy it.

We had a great time canoeing down the river Lot. 3 of us hired a canoe from Temps d'Aimer (we booked on the day) and the owner was really helpful and friendly. It's tricky to find but if you have a satnav put in 47500 and you should be able to find it by the river side near some old grain buildings, there are signs nearer to the place. The price was excellent and we spent about an hour and a half going along the river (which is incredibly calm, so recommended for beginners) my suggestion is bring something to drink whilst you're out on the river though, it does get hot! Highly recommended!
