Puy lombry - Martel

The history of Reptiland began in 1990 in Martel. It is a former phobic, now passionate, who launched this challenge a little crazy to change the vision of the world on his new protégés. Today, Reptiland offers Europe's finest collection of reptiles exposed to daylight, in a covered, air-conditioned space. More than 200 animals, lizards, crocodiles, snakes, turtles and arachnids are presented in greenhouses with varied atmospheres offering a wonderful journey around the world. Reptiland also hosts one of the most important collections of venomous reptiles in France, ranging from the atypical Gila monster to the majestic Egyptian cobra. In order to change your view of these often unknown animals, playful explanatory sheets corresponding to each species and educational panels adapted for all ages, are exhibited throughout the course. Wishing to bring an optimal quality of visit, feeding of snakes, monitor lizards, turtles or crocodiles, accompanied by explanations take place all day in an air-conditioned room not influenced by the temperature of the vivariums. In addition, the Reptiland team remains available to best answer your questions. With the aim of raising awareness and protecting, our team's primary objective is to share their passion for these animals like no other.
