A wonderful introduction for beginners in wine appreciation
We had such fun at Myriam's Vineyard tour. Such a beautiful place and a very welcoming host. The wines we tasted were just lovely and paired with beautiful local foods. We would really recommend this experience. It was a relaxed and very personal tour. Tres bien.

Vineyard tour of Vignoble Alain Robert et Fils - Vouvray region
It was a tricky decision whether to go for Myriam's Vineyard tour or the tasting & evening boat trip on the Loire. We settled for the vineyard tour and had a most enjoyable time, that left us wishing we'd gone to both events. As we wanted to sample the wines and not worry about driving ourselves, we'd opted for public transport to the family run vineyard and Myriam was extremely helpful providing bus times and taxi numbers in advance, even collecting us from the local village bus stop. A look at the vines, then a tour of the production area & hand hewn caves where the wine is stored, was very interesting & informative. Myriam's extensive knowledge just added to the tasting of the wines produced by Alain Robert & Fils and a couple of other local vinters. The real stars of the event were the wines themselves, as mainly red wine drinkers we were taken aback by the quality of the Vouvray extra brut and Les Charmes produced at the vineyard, conclusion being that the French were keeping the best for themselves. A nice spread of local meats, cheeses and delicacies were the perfect accompaniment to the wine tastings. Our biggest regret is not buying more to take home with us. I would highly recommend this tour (and wine) to anyone. Good value and gives you a real feel for the wine production in this region.

Wonderful day walking, learning and tasting
My friends and I were welcomed in the property's courtyard by the friendly Myriam. We had a relaxing walk around the village and the familiy's vines, Myriam was informative and interesting. On returning to the house we had a walk in the amazing caves and saw the preparation and bottling of the wines all done onsite. Finally, the tasting ! Generous and again informative Myriam shared her knowledge throughout a lovely hour relaxing with us and sharing local food specialties. An excellent afternoon and great value for money.

Fabulous, informative and memorable
We were fortunate to do the most interesting and informative tour of the family winery with Myriam who was passionate and spoke excellent English. We started in the beautiful vineyards and although we have been to many vineyards were learnt so much from the explanations given. The tour of the winery in the caves was so fascinating. Finally the local cheese and wine pairing was outstanding and delicious.. It was the best tour of winery that we have experienced and I would highly recommend it.

An amazing visit to the vineyard, wine tasting session
Me and my sister-in-law visited Myriam's vineyards on 21st June. We were just blown away by the amount of knowledge Myriam possessed on the art of wine-making from the time the grapevine is planted till the time its harvested and the whole wine making process. We got to know the entire history of the area and the amount of sheer hard work and dedication that goes behind managing a vineyard. She was very punctual and started the tour at the right time as mentioned before to us. The visit to the cellar and the brief given by Myriam on the bottling process was so very insightful. The wine tasting session with the local spread was just too sublime as we got to taste around six types of wine. Overall the experience was very very good and we had a great time. Here I cannot stop mentioning something. We were about to catch the 5.49 P.M. bus from Vouvray back to Tours. However, thanks to all our enthusiasm, we missed the bus and were wondering what to do as we had a train to catch back to Paris. Myriam was so very thoughtful as she came back again to the bus stop and drove all of us all the way back to Tours and dropped us near the Tours train station. Was really touched by her thoughtfulness. I would highly recommend her vineyard tour and am definitely booking her tour next year for my husband and my son. Thank you Myriam as due to all the information related to wine given by you, I will never look at a wine bottle the way I did before and will treat it with more respect. God bless you.
