いいオート麦ハウス

Brilliantly located property, kitted out to a very high standard. Just round the corner from a village centre with Carre-Four supermarket, boulangerie, butchers, and a multi-pool swim centre. Rene and Nicole very kindly lent us bikes, which we used on the excellent network of local cycle routes. Highlights for the kids were the fortress at Chinon (the ipad-esque "histopads" were excellent - National Trust could learn a thing or two) and the massive troglodyte zoo "BioParc" - worth the 40 minute drive. We had a great week, and can't recommend the property and the hosts enough.

We had a brilliant stay in this very well equipped and homely property. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and even fixed a puncture in one of the bikes we were loaned by them (we only asked if there was a bike pump we could borrow to do it ourselves !). Thank you very much Rene.

The photos really don't do this gite justice. It was spotlessly clean and the private outdoor space was lovely. The owners were very welcoming and gave good advice on the area, including which of the 3 bakers in walking distance was the best (we tried all 3 but went back to their recommendation). This gite is on a small one way street (with very little traffic) in the centre of the village. All the facilities including a supermarket are within a few minutes walk. It is only 10/15 mins away from Chinon a beautiful town which has a large hypermarket and a castle - particularly good if you have children (very interactive). We used this gite as a base to visit many of the Chateaus in the area and it was perfect. If I was visiting the area again I would stay here.

The host are very attentive and friendly, they gave us many useful Tipps. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape by biking along the rivers and the marvellous castles.

The house is very comfortable and well equipped and we had a warm welcome from our hosts. It is in an excellent position, especially for cyclists, there are numerous trips to visit chateaux and other places of interest which are an easy, mostly flat ride away. Avoine is a pleasant place with shops etc. very near.

We are a family of four (two teenage sons) who have just returned from a 2 week holiday in France. We wanted to locate ourselves for our first week in the Loire Valley and then move onto The Dordogne region for our second week. La Bonne Oats suited us down to the ground and Rene and Nicole couldn't have been more helpful. During our stay we were lucky enough to have wonderful weather and Rene and Nicole made sure we had fans for the house which we could move around as we needed. They also allowed us to use 4 bikes which enabled us to make use of the very well marked cycle routes down to and along the Loire Velo Trail which was well worth it. The property itself was spotlessly clean and very well equipped - decorated to a high standard with a thoughtful layout. Despite our French being pretty bad and Rene and Nicole claiming their English wasn't very good (much better than our French !) we all managed to understand each other and we enjoyed a home made aperitif together on our last night with some help from google translate ! We found the location of the property really useful. Not only were we handy for the middle of Avoine and its bakery and Carrefour supermarket - (literally a 2 minute walk away) but the property was private, peaceful and had plenty of outside space which made it very relaxing. From Avoine we reached Montsoreau (for its market and river beach), Zoo Parc de Beauval (just 1 1/4hrs) which was a very good zoo with the animals looking very well cared for and of course we got to see the Pandas and Hippos !. Saumur was only 20 minutes away - a very picturesque town with lots going on there to see and do - Loire cruises (nice 50 min cruise with a tasting session of local sparkling wine and biscuits !), bike hire, Chateau and not too far away Kayak hire among other things. Chateau de Chenonceau was only 50 mins away also which was very pretty and you could also incorporate Chateau Villandry and its wonderful gardens in on the same day. Rochmemenier Troglodyte Village was 1/2 hr away. Along with lots of well signposted walks, bike routes and sunflower fields there was something for us all. Couldn't fault the property, area or Rene and Nicole's hospitality.

We had an amazing week in Avoine and enjoyed our time in the holiday house and its garden in the Loire region. Our hosts welcomed us very warmhearted and gave us very good advice of possible activities in the area. The holiday house and location exceeded our high expectations. It's a beautiful arrangement of a historic house with modern interior. Since we focused on riding our bikes in the Loire region, we made the most of the fact, that the major bike routes pass Avoine. It is also very convenient, that a bakery and supermarket is in walking distance.

La Bonne Avoine is a gorgeous gite in the tiny village of Avoine, located about 8 km from Chinon. The location is central in the Loire Valley for seeing many lovely chateaux and towns by car. The spacious house is tastefully furnished, immaculately presented and very well equipped. The location is very quiet and private, yet centrally located in the little village – just a few minutes' walk to the bakery and also the local supermarket, which was more than adequate for supplies. The charming owners were very easy to deal with over the internet, and check-in and check out was very easy. We loved everything about the rental !! We highly recommend the gite and would definitely stay there again.

Très joli gîte, bien équipé, avec une grande cour et un beau jardin qui offre des coins ombragés pour profiter des vacances en plein air le tout, à proximité des commerces (supérette, pharmacie, boucherie…) et des équipements (piscine, médiathèque…). Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse (et le matériel bébé mis à disposition). Nous espérons revenir dans cette belle région pour continuer à la découvrir et séjournerons avec plaisir chez René et Nicole.

Gîte spacieux, confortable ; deux salles-de-bain ; sécurisé (vaste parking fermé pour les voitures) ; à deux pas des commerces d'Avoine ; propriétaires sympathiques et attentifs.

Gite très complet, très propre et pratique car à la fois au calme (portail électrique) et proche de tout. La maison est fraîche ce qui est un plus par les temps de canicule de cette semaine. Bien situé pour visiter la région et les caves. Et pour finir, accueil très sympathique des propriétaires. Nous pensons déjà à revenir…

Quelques jours au gîte de "La bonne Avoine", dans un confort remarquable, au calme, une cour privative, une maison magnifique régionale, c'est un rêve que nous renouvellerons. Des propriétaires sympa et dynamiques, ce qui ne gâche rien. Que du bonheur !!!

Accueillant, moderne, bien équipé avec des propriétaires très à l'écoute. Nous avons, de plus, oublié la salopette de notre petit garçon. Nous avons eu l'agréable surprise de la recevoir par la poste.

Merci à René et Nicole pour leur belle maison rénovée et équipée avec amour. Etant originaire de cette petite ville d'Avoine, nous nous y sommes sentis comme à la maison. Nos enfants ont beaucoup apprécié les vélos gentiment mis à leur disposition. Nous regrettons également que vous n'avez pas pu nous accueillir personnellement à notre arrivée. Mais, vos dispositions prises et votre bonne communication nous ont prouvé votre souci pour notre bien-être. Nous serions volontiers restés quelques jours de plus.

Mon épouse et moi même avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte parfaitement tenu et très bien équipé. Une mention particulière aux propriétaires qui ne vous donne qu'une envie, non des moindres, celle de revenir.

Ravis de l'accueil des propriétaires Nicole et René Vineau, nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans leur gite très confortable, très bien emménagé et remarquablement équipé.

Le gite est superbe, confortable, le terrain est clos (idéal pour une famille avec des enfants). Les propriétaires sont sympathiques, ils vous donnent d'excellents conseils pour votre séjour et vos visites. La région est sublime !!!

Accueil et confort impeccables, une maison qui supère la présentation sur le site, de caractère, aménagée avec grand goût, dans les moindres détails, technologique et équipée de tout ce qu'on peut désirer. Jardin indépendant, enceinte en bois. Les propriétaires sont très gentils, discrets, disponibles, ils nous ont offert un apéritif vraiment sympa chez eux. Tout a été parfait. De très bons souvenirs; à recommander !!!

Gîte haut de gamme, aménagé avec goût offrant tout le confort moderne (literie impeccable, volets électriques, cuisine haut de gamme) proche des commerces et très au calme et surtout un accueil sans pareil de la part des propriétaires. ! Incontournable !

Agradecemos desde aquí el maravilloso trato recibido por parte de los Señores Vineau durante la maravillosa estancia en su Gîte. La realidad de la mansión supera con creces a las fotos de las estancias y su situación geográfica es perfecta para recorrer la zona de modo placentero. Ha sido la primera vez que hemos alquilado en Francia para unas vacaciones que no fuera hotel y hemos quedado prendados de la cálida acogida de sus dueños, de la maravillosa recepción a su casa para un coctel de bienvenida y de los desvelos de ambos para que estuviéramos realmente como en nuestra casa. Muchas gracias señores Vineau et ' a la prochaine'.

Pequeñita por fuera y amplia, agradable y muy bien acondicionada por dentro. Excelentemente situada para visitar los castillos y jardines del Loira, Villandry, Rivaux, Chinon, Azay-Le -Rideau... Están muy cerca. Enclavada en las agueras del pueblo, lo que facilita las compras, y muy tranquila. El entorno es precioso, bueno todo el Loira lo es, en una zona de vinos con denominación de origen para todos los que gusten del buen vino, y la posibilidad de dar paseos por los bosques y pueblos de alrededor o simplemente no hacer nada. Nosotros hemos estado una semana maravillosa que se nos ha pasado volando así que esperamos repetir el próximo año. René y Nicole, los propietarios, te acogen con la tradicional amabilidad de la gente de la zona, su trato es exquisito y se desviven por hacerte la estancia lo más grata posible. Sólo le falla una cosa, aunque en vacaciones igual alguno lo agradece, no tiene WI-FI.

Ottima posizione per visitare i castelli. La casa è confortevole e curata nei dettagli. Solo il paese è praticamente inesistente quindi bisogna organizzarsi prima. René è davvero una brava persona. Consiglio.

Cottage is mooi, comfortabel en ruimtelijk. Ligging is ideaal en heerlijk privé door ommuurde tuin, ideaal met ruim voldoende parkeer gelegenheid op eigen terrein. Enige minpuntje wat we kunnen bedenken zijn de keukentafel & stoelen, zijn niet erg comfortabel en doen enigszins "goedkoop plasticachtig" aan en doen wat afbreuk aan de rest van het huis. Stoelen piepen irritant over de vloer. Verder is het huis echt een aanrader voor iedereen die van rust en comfort houdt.
