刻まれたコテージ

We stayed at the Gite de la Gravee for two weeks in late September early October 2019. The rental is beautifully furnished and well-equipped. There are two bathrooms and a bedroom on the first floor. For two people, there is no need to go upstairs. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, and other appliances. There is WIFI. The owner and her mother live next door and are very accommodating. All our questions were answered in advance and while we were there. We would definitely consider coming back.

We were very happy with our stay. Thank you, Chantal and Suzanne, you were the perfect hosts, and we were bowled over by your kindness. The cottage is perfectly suited for families wanting to explore the Vendee and there many excellent attractions nearby. The three outside tables were perfect for al fresco dining and we really appreciated the large garden. The cottage is very well equipped and very comfortable.

We could not fault this property both inside and out. The house was extremely clean and tidy, tastefully furnished and with thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was very well-appointed and the equipment and crockery stylish and up-to-date. The bedroom felt cool and the bed was so comfortable that we slept remarkably well - despite the hot temperatures outside. The outside spaces were amazing – a cool and shady seating area perfect for breakfast, a sunny patio complete with large table and comfortable seats, and a brilliant undercover area to either escape the sun or to sit out in at night. We were also delighted to discover that we weren't bothered by mosquitoes. The location of the gite strikes a perfect balance between being situated in a very peaceful and quiet village but within easy reach of many main towns. A wonderful bakery and café – La Lutine - is a few minutes' walk away. Chantal and her mother are the perfect hosts – charming, friendly and interesting and we very much enjoyed meeting them. We would, without doubt, return to this property in the future.

En rentrant, on se sent comme à la maison. Le séjour est spacieux avec un très bon canapé. Les chambres possèdent des lits confortables ainsi que tout le rangement nécessaire. Très belle cuisine avec tous les équipements ainsi que des provisions. Il y a deux salles de bains très bien agencées. Les lits sont faits à l'arrivée et le gîte est d'une grande propreté. Beaucoup de belles promenades à faire aux alentours. Merci à Chantal et à sa maman.

Wir haben unsere 2 Wochen in diesem charmanten Dorfhaus sehr genossen. Ganz besonders auch die vielen Möglichkeiten zum draussen sitzen rund ums Haus. Und für uns Grillfans war das gedeckte Grillhaus natürlich perfekt. Denn nicht immer schien die Sonne… Im Haus ist alles in tadellosem Zustand und es ist absolut alles da, was man braucht. Besonders hervorzuheben die liebenswerte Vermieterin und ihre Mutter. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen und zuhause. Ganz besondere Freude hatte ich an den duftenden Maiglöckchen, aber auch an den feinen regionalen Produkten, die uns zum Empfang geschenkt wurden. Herzlichen Dank, wir werden Sie weiterempfehlen. Leider fahren nur wenige Schweizer in die wunderschöne Vendée.

Voor herhaling vatbaar !

Een schitterende gîte, sfeervol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien, meer dan compleet ! We werden gastvrij ontvangen met allerlei lekkernijen, waaronder een heerlijke fles rode wijn van een wijngaard uit de buurt. Die zijn we zelf ook gaan bezoeken om wat wijn mee terug naar Nederland te nemen. In het huis ligt genoeg informatie wat er zoal te beleven is in de streek. Vanuit de gîte kun je schitterende wandelingen maken, evenals in de wijde omgeving. De markering laat soms te wensen over, maar dat is op te lossen met Google Maps ! Het is een gebied met weinig toerisme en de lunchmogelijkheden in de regio zijn legio. Tegen een verbluffend lage prijs krijg je een heerlijke maaltijd voorgeschoteld !
