Les Gîtes Champêtres - chestnut cottage - Located in the heart of the Natural Park of the Cotentin and Bessin marshes, Les Gîtes Champêtres offers spacious, self-contained accommodation in a semi-rural setting and are located on the edge of the peaceful village of Sainteny, (Municipality of Terre-et-Marais which is less than an hour from the port of Cherbourg and the city of Caen. The Gîtes Champêtres provide an excellent base of tourism to visit the numerous historic sites, the landing beaches of Normandy and other places of interest. Ideal for couples or families with young children. The cottages are open all year. Les Gîtes Champêtres include 3 properties - Chestnut Cottage, Oak Cottage and Walnut Cottage. All are located within the property of the owners' house. A courteous and discreet service is assured. Chestnut Cottage - A property of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms including : Ground floor : a very large lounge / dining room decorated with care, some french windows that open onto an individual patio, as well as a large enclosed garden / park. The lounge has a tv with French and English channels and a dvd player. A bathroom, with bath / shower, washbasin and toilet, a fully equipped modern kitchen, including an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. First floor : 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, a shower room with multi-jets, a washbasin and wc. In each cottage there is a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board and a clothes dryer. An excellent literature in connection with the many places of interest and leisure in the region embellishes the lodgings. A good selection of books, dvds, family games and children's toys can be made available, as well as everything necessary for the little ones. The park / garden is fully secured with ample off-street parking, as well as a private terrace for bbq. With the exception of beach towels, linen is included.
