Comfortable house of the 16th century overlooking a quiet street in the historic spa town of Salies de Bearn. On three levels. At ground level a large dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with tub and shower, toilet, electric heating. On the first floor. A large lounge with two sofas, including a sofa bed. TV and hi fi. On the second floor. A double bed, single bed, toilet and basin; covered balcony. The house comfortably sleeps up to 5 people using two bedrooms and a modern sofa bed in the living room. Salies de Bearn is a picturesque town and celebrated for its spa facilities. The baths are open to the public and offer a range of beauty and health treatments. From Salies, it is easy to travel throughout the region, visiting many historical sites and beautiful towns such as Bayonne and Pau 45 minutes / 1 hour; Lourdes 1.15 hours. The many beautiful beachesincluding Biarritz are 45 minutes away. There is good access from the motorway to the northern cities of Spain such as Saint Sebastian. The ski resorts of St Martin Gourette and can be reached within a period of 1.25 hours. Fishing; spa; swimming; treks; tennis; bird watching, rafting, kayaking, golf, horse riding. Are all nearby. The price includes heating for the winter. Towels and sheets are not normally included but are available for € 20 per person. There are many shops and restaurants in and around Salies. The laundry, swimming pool and spa leisure centre are a short walk from the house.
