Old stone barn renovated in a design cottage for two people, with stunning view of the Cathar castle of Peyrepertuse in a quiet and preserved village of Corbieres. Very comfortable y functional. Air conditioning, heating and wood stove design. You can swim in the river the Verdouble at the foot of the village in a very pretty framework (5 mn's walking). Very well placed for exploring the Cathar country and its castles. The ground floor (35 m²) consists of a large living room, loft style with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and lounge with a wood stove and a bathroom with travertine marble with a bath and a towel. Upstairs, a large air-conditioned bedroom (20m²) with a 160cm bed and bedding of good quality, with a bay window that overlooks a stone terrace, south-facing (15 m²). The terrace has a lovely view of the cathar castle of Peyrepertuse.

LOCALISATION IN THE AUDE

It is 1 hour drive from Perpignan and Narbonne 1h30. Rouffiac Corbières is situated on the D.14, between the village of Cucugnan (Castle Quéribus) and in Duilhac Corbieres (Castle Corbieres), and gorges Galamus. From Perpignan (1 hour drive) - Take D.117 towards Foix. A Maury turn right towards Cucugnan, then turn left direction Duilhac in Corbieres then Rouffiac Corbières. On arrival in the village, turn right along the church. The Carairou Street is the first left.
