Other | • Booking and Payment : To reserve the cottage, the party leader (who must be aged over 18) must sign the booking form on behalf of the entire party and returned with non-refundable deposit of 20% the total rent due. We will confirm your reservation and send you the final bill, which is payable at least 6 weeks before your stay begins. • Deposit : A deposit of £ 150 is required with final payment. The property will be inspected before departure and that money will be refunded within two weeks after the end of your holiday, less any deductions necessary for breakages, damage or cleaning. If there are loads in excess of the deposit, we will ask you to pay the extra cost. • Arrival and Departure : The cottage will be available to you 16 hours from the first day and departure must be before 10am on the last day to allow the change of laundry and cleaning, etc. • Utilities : Bedding and bed linen are included in the rental house as well as towels. Please note that the pool / beach towels are not provided. Gas, electricity and water are included in the rent. • Cancellation : If canceled, the rental deposit will normally be granted. Until the notice of cancellation is received no less than eight weeks before the holiday start date, the tenant will not be responsible for the balance of the rent. However, if the cancellation is notified less than eight weeks before the holiday start date, the tenant must pay the balance of the rent unless we are able to rebook the vacation property. In all other respects, we will hold the tenant responsible only to the extent that we incur a financial liability. We will only try to relet the property after we have received a written notice of cancellation, so the faster, the better informed we are around. If the balance of your rent is not paid 6 weeks before the tenancy begins, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation - please call us if you have problems (numbers below). • Personal belongings : baggage and personal effects are at risk of the lessee at any time. Customers are invited to the rules and procedures for full holiday insurance (including cancellation fee) and have full coverage for personal belongings of the party, public liability etc. since these are not covered by homeowner's insurance. • Pool : The pool is not supervised and is available for your use at your own risk, at any time. Please note that this is very important, children are only allowed in the pool area when accompanied by an adult. • Responsibility of tenant : The tenant is responsible for leaving the property in a clean and tidy. • Acceptance of Booking Conditions : By signing the booking form that you (the renter) acknowledge that you have read these conditions and accept them without reservation or exception. • Pets : Sorry but for now we do not accept pets. • Smoking : Sorry but smoking is prohibited in public places or property, eg bbq and pool. • Conditions beyond our control : We will at all times endeavor to ensure that your stay is as pleasant as possible. However please note that we can not assume responsibility for events and events beyond our control. For example, major road works in bad weather, etc. |
