The apartment and hosts could not have been nicer!
The hosts, Bernard and Marie-Claire, rent two apartments, one on each end of their lovely farmhouse. We actually stayed in the other one, but spent quite a bit of time with the couple who were staying in this apartment, so I would like to comment on both apartments. First of all, Le Thor is close to more of the absolutely lovely villages of Provence than we could possibly see in one week. We went to Cassis on the Mediterranean for a lovely lunch one of our days. The apartments are on a beautiful piece of property, including an acre of gardens, plus fruit trees. You can occasionally hear a train in the distance if you are outside, but we heard only one train whistle during the week. The apartment described here has a cozy living/dining room, a well equipped kitchen. There are two full bathrooms, including huge showers made of Italian marble slabs. The two bedrooms are upstairs (so you do have to do some stairs to use the bathroom at night). So two couples could share the apartment and each couple would have their own bedroom and their own bathroom. Both the downstairs and upstairs have small covered balconies, but the best place to relax with a glass of wine is the patio out front, shaded by a grape arbor. The other apartment also has a lovely patio, complete with zero-gravity chairs, a pizza oven and a dining set. That apartment has a bistro-styled kitchen/living/dining room downstairs and a large upstairs bedroom. (the king-size bed was very comfortable and firm, and had adjustable height head and feet on both sides). One travel site says the apartment has 0 full baths, 1 half bath. That is very misleading. There are two rooms right off the bedroom, one is the toilet, the other is the sink, tub and huge shower. So it definitely has a full bath, on the same level as the bedroom. The patios always have shade. The apartments have powerful but very quiet A/C units. I would not hesitate to rent here in the heat of summer. But finally, my very favorite part of staying here was the incredible hospitality and helpfulness of Marie=Claire and Bernard. They gave us lots of privacy, but were always willing to help with questions.

Wonderful Stay in Provence
We stayed in this wonderful house for 4 nights in July. Lovely very comfortable accommodation, close to many Provence sights such as Nimes, Orange, Vaison La Romaine, Pont du Gard, Ile sur la Sorgue, Chateauneuf du Papes, Avignon and others. The owners are very nice and accommodating. The house was great for a family with kids - there are cats, playground, and nice territory, kids loved it and so did the adults. Outdoor space with a dining table allowed for nice dinners and drinks outside. Highly recommend!

Home away from home
I travelled with a girl friend where we both had our own comfortable room where we were welcomed as if we were family so spent a week with our hosts who could not do enough to make a stay a true French experience helping us to book restaurants and with helpful advice on tourist spots. The amenities were excellent and especially having a washing machine was a bonus. Cookie the dog was also comforting to weary travellers. I would recommend the venue to anyone.
