Lagrasse is considered as one of the most beautiful village of France with his paved streets, his stone bridge and his abbey, classified as Historic Monument´. The ´Chanoines´ live there since 2004. The small gite of the river is a beautiful appartment of 40 m ² with a terrace of 20 m ², situated in the extremity of the village, above the river with a view of the abbey. The center of the village with its businesses (bakery, grocer´s shop, tobacco-press, coffee(café), restaurants, pharmacy, ...) stays unless 300 metres of the house. The gîte can accommodate 2 persons. Description of the shelter: Everything is on the ground floor, the main entrance, fact of a magnificent iron glass door, looks in a corridor, which brings you to the front door of the small shelter (staircases lead to the apartments of the owner). Once entered the little gite, you are in the main room, with the kitchen, equipped of one microwave, induction cooker, refrigerator with compartment of freezing, coffe machine, kettle, toaster, and all the necessary to cook. The dining room with an old cupboard, the wooden table and 4 chairs, the living-room with blue sofa with a glass coffee table and a TV with DVD reader. A glazed main entrance gives access to the terrace where is a big table in earthenware with its chairs and 2 deckchairs, to bask under the parasol or in the shade of trees with as background noise the wind and the river. To the left of the front door is the bedroom, endowed with a big double bed, a big cupboard and a former mirror, 2 tables of head, numerous books and magazines and a ventilation. The bathroom which separates the 2 rooms consists a shower, a washbasin, one toilets, and a hairdryer. Numerous things will be proposed to you to spend a pleasant stay as well as brochures. Activities: swimming in the river of Lagrasse or in ´termes´ where flows a cold source. Visit Cathar castles, honey, wine cellars, olive plantation, wildlife parks, sea, abbeys, potteries, walks and riding horses, mountain bike, fishing...
