Les Tourterelles (The Turtledoves) is the result of the conversion of an old barn, with its attractive wood frame in a building reminiscent of the medieval houses of Troyes. Large oak beams (wherever it was possible to leave them visible) and the limestone walls give the rooms a special charm. Oak floorboards cover the entire first floor. In the large living / dining-room, a wood stove is tucked into the fireplace providing, if desired, an additional heat and creates extra ambiance. On the ground floor there is also a separate kitchen which is fully equipped. The master bedroom, with exposed stone walls, has a king sized bed and satellite TV, with an adjoining bathroom features a tub, shower, sink and toilet, and a hairdryer. The second bedroom, with windows overlooking a wide viewing angle, has two single beds, but is large enough to accommodate a third bed if necessary. A large shower room is adjacent. The third bedroom, lit by its French windows, has a shower room with toilet and sink. A terrace with wooden garden furniture and a parasol is in front of the cottage. Trellises supporting climbing plants provides some privacy. The terrace at the end of the garden is the perfect place to sit and relax enjoying the view of the fields and forest, especially when the sun sets. A barbecue is available. The terrace adjoining the pool is ideal for playing table tennis. The boules court is on the other side, under the shade of tall trees that separates our property from the neighboring farm. The pool (15 m by 7 m), heated, is open from mid-May to mid-September. A wall on three sides and sheltered from the sun on the fourth provide security. The entire length of the pool is arranged with sunbeds and parasols.
