A beautiful Fifteenth century half timbered house, retaining much charm and many original features. The house is located in the heart of Dinan's unspoilt medieval centre within easy reach of the town's attractions and many good restaurants and cafés. Sleeping 4 to 5, and with the benefit of free internet wifi, a good choice if you want to experience staying in an historic property in the middle of this unique medieval town. The house is arranged on three levels, on entering there is a kitchen and dining area. Original stairs lead to a good sized double bedroom with ensuite bath. Further stairs to a landing and a separate shower room with WC. The second bedroom with two single beds is found on the third floor, there is also a bed settee available for a fifth guest. General Facilities: wifi internet access, central heating, tv, dvd player. Kitchen Facilities: Oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster. Bed Linen: Included within rental (Towels not provided) - Cot/High Chair/Baby Bath: Available upon request. Parking Arrangements: Parking is available in a secure underground car park a short walk away for 20 € a week. End of Stay Clean: We can arrange this if required for 40 € - Rental Details. Normal usage of electricity/gas is included within the rent between May to August. Between September and April, electricity/gas is recharged at the end of your stay, this ranges between 20 and 50 € depending on consumption. The house is located on the cobbled Rue Du Coignet, which leads off one of Dinan's prettiest squares - Place Saint-Sauveur. Here you can explore the magnificent 12th century church, or have a drink at a sunny pavement café overlooking the square. During the summer, there is a weekly antiques market in the square, and during August a series of jazz concerts every Saturday night. The town's impressive castle and tall stone ramparts are a short walk away. There is a good selection of restaurants and bistros in the town centre, as well as a selection of excellent bakeries, a butchers and a couple of supermarkets. The coast of North Brittany is about a 35 minute drive away, and is. both dramatic and beautiful, with rocky headlands, peaceful coves and sandy beaches. The Emerald Coast is the name given to the coast around Dinard and St Malo, reflecting the green colour of the sea. There are some outstanding safe family beaches here, these are often surprisingly quiet out of the peak summer season. The walled town of St Malo with it's bustling 'intra muros' area is within easy reach, the beaches here are large and sandy and the town has some great seafood restaurants. The impressive Abbey of Mont St Michel, rising high above the sea, is also not far and well worth a visit.
