Les Ecuries is specially designed to accommodate disabled people; it has wide doors giving access to the gite and also to a spacious shower room on the ground floor, this room also has a basin and toilet. All of the gites at La Julerie have open plan ground floors, so nobody is left in the kitchen whilst the others are sitting and enjoying themselves! There is a corner kitchen, a spacious salon area with space for the dining table away from the chairs and sofa tv & dvd player; if required for a disabled person, a single bed can be placed at the rear of the salon area behind a screen.. On the first floor there are two bed rooms: one is a double room and the other has twin beds, on the large landing there is a sofa for an adult or 2 children; there is a bathroom with bath (with shower attachments), basin and toilet. There is a lawned area to the front of this gite and a patio behind which is accessed through French doors; where you will find wooden garden furniture and a barbeque, then some further lawned area; the garden then opens up to a larger area which is shared with other guests staying at La Julerie. Robert & Elizabeth Norman are an English couple who have spent many holidays in the area and now live locally throughout the summer; all of the conversion work was undertaken by their son Tim who now lives across the yard from the Gites with his French wife Lydiane and their family. Lydiane has her own hair salon adjoining their house and will be more than delighted to take care of all of your family's hair during your stay at La Julerie. A very popular feature at La Julerie is its indoor heated swimming pool which is surrounded by a walled patio and accessed through the adjoining games room where there is a table tennis table, toys for the younger children, a seating area, showers and a toilet; it is open from 1 April until the end of the New Year holiday annually. During fine weather its retractable glass cover is opened. A reduction of 10% is offered if all 4 Gites are all reserved for full weeks, except during high season.
