Delightful stone breton house situated in the charming sleepy village of La Ville Es Nonais on the edge of the Rance Estuary in North Brittany. The house is just 10 minutes drive from the Emerald Coast and it's famous towns and monuments in a calm and peaceful setting, where you can relax in the courtyard for a family barbecue or a freshly baked croissant from the village bakery. L'ancienne poste has been renovated to a high standard and tastefully furnished throughout to provide comfortable accomodation for up to 8 people, retaining it's original charm and features. Sleeping 8 in 4 bedrooms with two bathrooms, this renovated post office is the perfect base for a family holiday. On entering the house you will find a large living room with 3 large sofas around an original fireplace with log burner. On the ground floor you will also find a well equipped kitchen with a table and four chairs and a dining room with a large table seating 12. From the dining room stairs lead up to the mezzanine twin bedroom. From the lounge a beautiful original wooden staircase leads up to the first floor. First you will come to the children's twin bedroom with a bunkbed. Next is the spacious and light master bedroom with king size Louis 15th style bed. There is also a bathroom on this floor with WC, sink and bath with shower fitting. On the second floor is a light attic bedroom with double bed and ensuite WC, sink and shower. There are two outside areas. One is completely enclosed, called the courtyard, and houses a quiet dining area and barbecue. The other, to the rear, is a raised patio, sheltered with a vine-covered pergola and looks out into the village. Facilities. General Facilities: electric radiators, log burner, hifi, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, barbecue. Kitchen Facilities: Dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, coffee maker toaster. Bed Linen : included within rental. Cot/High Chair: Can be found in the house. La Ville-ès-Nonais is located in North Brittany between St Malo, Dinard and Dinan: the three must-see towns of the area. F you prefer not to take the car, the charming village of St Sulliac and it's estuary are just two minutes walk away down a pleasant countryside lane. St Sulliac has been voted one of France's 148 finest villages('les plus beaux villages de la France') which are chosen for their exquisite setting, attractive architecture and delightful surroundings. Along this estuary and the surronding coast are some fantastic walks along the coastal foothpaths and some spectacular views out to sea, which really capture the wild beauty of Brittany's Emerald Coast. Whether you're staying near the house for the day exploring the estuary, or taking the car to explore further afield, North Brittany's beautiful coastal scenery is only a small distance away, just waiting to be discovered.
