Our lodging for 2 people, "La Colombina" is close to the protected areas of the Vercors plateau. It is independent. Recently renovated, it is decorated with care. Located in the heart of the old village of Aurel, it boasts stunning views of the surrounding mountains and ensures an enabling quiet healing. It can be the starting point for many excursions to discover our beautiful region Diois and more generally of the Drôme.
Possible activities abound (hiking, mountain biking, cycling, climbing, canoeing, canyoning, paragliding, fishing, mushroom picking in autumn, skiing or snowshoeing in winter, swimming in white water, Clairette tasting at the wine growers of common and Diois...). All ign hiking maps are available in the lodging and itinerary suggestions. The communal pool in the countryside is open from 1 July to 15 August. You can even get away with doing nothing admiring the scenery that awaits you at the threshold of the house...
Irrigated by a small torrent "Dove" Aurel is located in a privileged mountain circus for its sunshine and lies at the confluence of two courses of wild water : Drôme and its tributary the Roanne. This is the starting point for many walks or bike-biking. It is also a renowned and appreciated for paragliding site. The valley of the Roanne, known for its spectacular landscapes, will offer its white water pools. The highlands of Vercors, accessible in 45 minutes, giving you access to their virgin areas and protected, for the discovery of the great diversity of fauna and flora.
