Only 15 minutes from the major attraction of Carcassonne, Ventenac is located in picturesque countryside. These 3 gites are on the edge of the village in an appealing setting, with open views across fields and vineyards. If you like the idea of a holiday in a rural and historic area, but also like the comforts of home, these smart first floor gites would suit well. For summer holidays: sun loungers, tables and chairs and barbeques and of course the heated pool. For winter holidays: bright and sunny, fully centrally heated, you can even eat outside on the sheltered terrace (gites 1 and 2) most of the year round. The gites are fully equipped - from dishwasher -(very important) - microwave, freezer, washing machine etc etc). They are very functionnal, are light and sunny and have been carefully decorated with antique furniture and colourful fittings. Each gite has a comfortable sofa-bed (sleeps 2).
