Poghju (Poggio) is one of the ten traditional hamlets of the commune of Ersa, nor more nor less. It is located on the hillside, facing south-east. It enjoys a beautiful sunny at the sunrise. On leaving the port of Bastia, take the Cap Corse, the D80; along the seafront you will pass successively Miomo and Erbalonga to ten km and Siscu, Pietra Corbara, Porticciollu Santa Severa, Meria and Macinaggio (38 km). Continue the D80 towards Centuri, 11 km you reach the hamlet of Botticella (common Ersa), just after the entrance of the village turn right and 200 meters turn left towards Tollari. Go straight on and after Tollari exceed Piazza hamlets Gualdu, A Rota and Cucincu you are at '' Poghju. '' It takes an hour and a quarter past one to arrive at Bastia Poghju.
