Anduze is situated on the edge of the Cevennes National Park, and 50 km from the Mediterranean (the Grau du Roi, Aigues Mortes). The village is wedged between two hills, and Peyremale Saint Julien, home to the course of the river Gardon of Anduze. The clock tower dates from the XIV century, the hall to the grain, built in the fifteenth century home of the Thursday market. The pagoda fountain dates from the 17th century. In the streets, you will discover many fountains. The history of the city is closely linked to that of the Protestant religion, very present in the region.
