Nice studio in the Loire valleyIn October we spent a week in Amboise and visited 12 main castles. The studio is located in a walking distance from the chateau of Amboise and Clos Lucé and also in a center position of the most impressive area between Chambord and Chinon (max. 50 km driving). There was a good set of kitchen equipment available, we did not miss anything. Madame Soizick helped a lot with informations in advance via e-mail as well as with tourist maps and brochures after arriving. We felt comfortable, had a nice stay and returned with great experience from the Loire valley.
Response from the manager:
Thank you very much : you are a very nice couple, very interessed and i enjoy you likes your stay here ! And thank a lot for the good paprika.

Madame Soizick is an exellent hostSituated in a quiet cul de sac in walking distance to the centre of Amboise this self catereing apartement offers beautiful views across the Loire towards the Castle. It is a pleasure to dine in the lovely and secluded patio area. A butcher and a baker are only a stone's throw away. Madame Soizick is very hospitible and generous host and the property is very tidy.

Magnificent LocationThe location of this studio was everything you could hope for. 5 minutes from the Chateau D'Amboise and the town, and ideally situated for exploring this region of the Loire. Soizick the owner was absolutely charming and extremely helpful with local information, recommending some wonderful restaurants, especially L'Epicerie in Amboise opposite the Chateau and a little further away the Chateau Beaulieu on the outskirts of Tours for Dejeuner D'Affaires amazing, a gastronomic delight. Comfortable clean accommodation, excellent shower and lovely terrace with Hibiscus, honeysuckle, passionflower, very pretty. 5 minutes to the SNCF station if you don't want to take your car, we went to Tours, 15 minutes away by train. Excellent Cave at Vouvray with wine tour and chance to purchase wines to take home. Recommend the Cremant De Loire sparkling and any of the Vouvray wines. We travelled from Caen it took approx 3 hours with 2 stops, hardly any traffic, especially the new road, but tolls are payable, well worth it, much nicer than driving in England. By far the best thing in Amboise was the Clos De Luce where Leonardo Da Vinci used to live, charming manor house and lovely grounds with some of his working models in the gardens and on show. Chateau De Chenonceau and Chateau De Chinon well worth a visit. All in all a delightful holiday, we will definitely return to do the east of the Loire.
Response from the manager:
Thank a lot for your so wonderful appreciation ; it was so nice to speak together about you both and about France, Touraine etc you are lovely people and i am sure i see you again.

Lovely studio for two in a beautiful location in AmboiseThe studio we stayed in was compact, very clean and comfortable, very French and had everything that was needed for a self-catering holiday. In all there are two studios which could be rented together for four people. They are self-contained with their own entrance and there is a very pretty patio to enjoy a drink and the view. The studios are part of the owner's home and Soizick did everything she could, and more, to make us welcome and our stay trouble-free. The studio is in a quiet area of Amboise close to the railway station and overlooking the Loire River and the chateau. It is within easy reach of this beautiful historic town. Having travelled by rail from England, we used the train to visit other places of interest without any problems. Amboise itself has much history and a visit to the Clos de Luce where Leonardo da Vinci lived, and the Chateau de Amboise where he is buried, should not be missed. This was our first visit to this beautiful area of France and we hope to return to Amboise and the Studios de Soizick in the future.
Response from the manager:
