An entirely new gîte, finished in June 2008 in the west wing of the owner's house, but fully independent and private. It is the only gîte on the property, which lies midway between Toulouse and Carcassonne, amid the rolling hills of Lauragais, the Land of Cockaigne. Aguts is a nice little village, with its beautiful church, 15th century castle, magnificent calvary and shady footpaths. The property is a former post-house dating from 1790, built in pale stone. It is surrounded by fields of wheat and sunflowers and offers a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. In the big garden you will find a large swimming pool, a boules court, a badminton court and a table-tennis table. Peace and tranquillity assured, but the possibility of many enriching visits in the vicinity. A stay at Chante-Colline will rest and restore you.
