Charente

The Charente is home to the Cognac vineyards and the city of Angoulême, renowned for its international comic strip festival, but also to the Château of La Rochefoucauld, the lakes in upper Charente propitious to sports and leisure activities, the Charente valley, and the Aubeterre-sur-Dronne monolithic church.

Creuse
