The Yonne has five vineyards. The prestigious Chablis vineyards is famous for its white vintage wine. Situated in the Serein valley, the Chablis vineyards extends over about 15 kilometres length and 20 kilometres width. This area accounts four AOC quality labels: small Chablis, Chablis, Chablis first vintage wine and Chablis vintage wine. The latter is produced in the best soil of the vineyards. The Yonne also has other quality vineyards: Auxerrois, Tonnerre, Joigny and Vézelay vineyards. |
