The listed villa Savoye, located in Poissy, is the work of the famous architect Le Corbusier. Built from 1928 to 1931 for Mr Savoye and his wife, this villa is today a remarkable example of 20th-century architecture. This masterpiece perfectly illustrates the five-point theory of modern architecture, with pilotis (supporting columns), roof terrace, free plan, horizontal windows and freely-designed facade.
