Open to the public from early June to mid-September, the Viels-Maisons Gardens, nestling at the foot of an 11th-century Romanesque church on the site of an old French-style kitchen garden, offer a wonderful group of themed gardens spread over three hectares. The priest's garden, which features flowers, vegetables and medicinal plants; the English garden full of rose bushes, floral shrubs and perennials; and the romantic garden along the old moat with its clusters of hydrangeas, are some of the attractions to admire on a leisurely stroll...
