The reserver protects an important fauna and a flora. The Verdon gorges, the lavenders fields of the Valensole plateau in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, and the Verdon lakes are among the sites to be discovered. With its magnificent landscapes and its 700 kilometres of footpaths, the Verdon reserve is a real paradise for walkers. This unspoiled area is also dotted with charming villages, such as Trigance, Bargème, and Aiguines.
