With a surface area of 186,000-hectare, this park forming a natural citadel spreads out over two départements: the Drôme and the Isère. Its mysterious landscapes are characterised by caves, abysses, magnificent cliffs, vast forests, deep gorges and beautiful and impressive roads such as that of the "Grands Goulets". All these treasures will delight lovers of wild open spaces!

The Vercors region was a sanctuary for the French Resistance during the Second World War.
