Originally made for special occasions, tourtons are a delicious speciality of the Champsaur area. They are fried thin pastry parcels with a mashed potato, fresh Tomme cheese and onion filling, and are served with a green salad or some meat.

Tourtons can also be stuffed with spinach and sweet version, with apples.
