This beautiful hilltop medieval village is renowned for its cultivation of violets, small very nice-smelling flowers. These are used in candies, but also in perfume, used in the largest factories of perfume in Grasse. In March, the flowering period, the village comes alive during the violet festival.

The picturesque narrow streets of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, decorated with stone staircases, have have kept their charm. The pretty shops of arts and crafts are pretty, especially those of weavers.
