The Tortoise Village (Village des Tortues) is located in Gonfaron right in the heart of the Maures mountains. Entirely devoted to the protection of the species, this space of 3,000 hectares brings together more than 1,500 tortoises. Tortoises are bred, looked after and protected there. Open to visitors, the village includes a hatchery, nursery and tortoise clinic.
